Ophelia Eulogy

O o o Ophelia why do you not get the respect you deserve. It is highly preposterous that you did not receive the proper burial that you shall have received. You were as normal as anyone else, but the events occurring in the past few months had driven you to go mad and I believe its completely understandable.

Whether or not she took her own life does not really matter to me. The people who pushed her to the edge should be punished instead of her. It is not right to not give her a proper burial, who are we to decide this? Let God judge all of us and we will have no problems. Our opinions and immature acts do not matter and should be disregarded and let God decide.

Everyone deserves to be treated equally and know one should get treated any different when it comes to their burial. We all should end up going to one place and let God decide where we end up. By not treating someone equal and not properly burying them here, we may pay in the end when God comes to decide our fates.

The Dilemma

In the play Hamlet struggles to kill Claudius. He struggles not on how to kill him but when to kill him. He is trying to catch Claudius doing something bad so he can definitely go to hell so that it postpones the killing.

When he attempts to kill Claudius, Claudius is confessing in the church telling all his sins and being sincere. When Claudius is confessing Hamlet feels sorrow for him and cannot kill him because he is not doing anything bad. Hamlet waits for the right moment to do it but it has not come because he is in a very religious place and not doing anything wrong.

To Be Or Not To Be

In Oliviers "To be or not to be" scene in Hamlet there is not much emotion going on in the scene. It is one picture and not much moving of the camera or actor. The scene being in black and white made it that much worse. The only good part of this scene was the background music which created suspense during the speech.

In Mel Gibsons "To be or not to be" scene in Hamlet it occured in a catacomb. He was surrounded his fathers dead body and a lot of gold and statues. In the scene he moves around a lot and I liked how he did that. He did not use the dagger which was a minor setback I believe in the scene but everthing he used was powerful.
